As with “A Field Guide to the Snakes of Hong Kong’’ all photos were taken of wild animals in Hong Kong over the course of several years of field work, and should be a solid reference for any species encountered.

Note: Only one Many-banded Krait is pictured despite two species referenced as there has not yet been confirmation of visual distinction between them.
